Wii mini is the last revision of the Wii, it removes Wi-Fi, SD Cards, and GameCube compatibility. It was released in Canada first in December 2012 as a cheaper Wii.

The Wii mini is a lite revision that is only able to play offline games, and access set channels. The console is matte black with a red border and includes a red Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk. With the help of homebrewing the Wii mini can have internet again with Ethernet, as it still has 1 USB port it can used for a LAN adapter. With the removal of the GameCube port, even normal Wii games are affected as certain accessories make use of the controller port. It also added a Wii Menu Electronic Manual channel and an option to auto-power-off.
