The Wii Vitality Sensor was announced at E3 2009 and never released. It was a heartbeat sensor which would be supported by games. It used its port under the Wii Remote to get power along with other electronic accessories. It's discontinuation was announced on July 5, 2013 due to testing problems.
Modern Use[]
Today, its idea is used under every Nintendo Switch's right Joy-Con in games like Ring Fit Adventure.[1]
